MY PERSONAL TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
My name is Nondumiso Radebe. I am a student at tec Siyabuswa studying for a B Ed for foundation phase programme.
I am going to discuss about my personal teaching philosophy where I will be talking about my goals as a teacher to be. I will be talking about how I am going to make change in the process of teaching and learning. I will be discussing about tasks, roles and competences a teacher to be should have.
First I would like to define personal teaching philosophy as a self-reflective statement of ones beliefs and feelings about teaching and learning. It can also be defined as how a person thinks about teaching as a career.
My goal as a teacher who will be teaching at a foundation phase is to be a caring, accountable, critically reflective and be able to support, nurture learning and development as the Faculty of UJ want me to be. My goal is to teach and produce quality learners. I will be helping the young ones in developing them as they prepare their future. I will manage learning in the classroom. I will do my best to understand and interpret learning programmes.
My goal as a teacher to be is to become a passionate teacher in order to produce clever learners. As my teaching philosophy includes fostering personal interaction, creating original imagination, sharpening critical thinking skills, encouraging independent thoughts, providing real-world in classroom so as to make children think outside the box by looking at the world as a better place.
The roles of a teacher help teachers to have subject knowledge, teaching styles, teaching methodology and knowledge of learning. Teachers have roles and competences that they must fulfil. Teachers mediate learning in a way that it provides needs of the learners.

I see myself as a teacher as I will constantly evaluate the ways in which I teach my learners and also make sure that I accommodate diverse learners in the class. As it known that becoming an effective teacher take time, therefore I will connect with the learners and become friendly so that they will be able to approach me.

   http://za.ixl.com/math/preschool/count-dots-up-to-10

WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS PARTICULAR CHROME EXTENSION?

I chose this particular chrome extension because children learn best through play. Math games for children who are in Grade R can help make learning math fun with games. This math game I have chosen will take the frustration out of practicing math for young learners. It will make it fun and also as rewarding experience of counting as learners will be enjoying themselves and at the end they will know how to count.

This game focus on numbers where there is addition, this will help build a base for a young child to practice counting. This game will help them to count from 1-10. It represents different numbers with dots, so learners are expected to say how many dots are there. That will make them recognize different numbers and be able to count.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM GRADE R’S IN NUMBERS?

Grade R’s are expected to know how to count from 1-10. They must be able to recognize different numbers. The Grade R‘s are expected to be able to write the numbers from 1-10. They must use small stones, bottle caps etc. so that they will practice to count. They must be able to recognize numbers when different objects are used.

MY FINAL SCHOOL MBALENHLE SECONDARY SCHOOL

My personal journey

My final school year at Mbalenhle Secondary School, in Mpumalanga.

I started schooling at Mlambongwane Primary School from 2000 until 2006. I then continued with my Grades at Mbalenhle Secondary School from 2007, where I was doing my Grade 7. I matriculated in this school in the year 2012. Both my Primary and High schools are situated in a rural area.

In matric I was doing seven subjects which are: Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Mathematics, Life Orientation, English and Siswati home language. I like that school, it was a strict school and learners were expected to wear proper school uniform. Learners were doing what was expected from them. We even passed with high marks in our matric and obtained number 2 under Mpuluzi Circuit
.
My school does not have educational technologies which were used in classes. Teachers were photocopying notes for us. We as learners were having no access to computers we were using textbooks.

Those are the years to remember as now I am doing my B Ed for Foundation Phase at University of Mpumalanga at Siyabuswa Campus.
